Are you a Deaf or Hard of Hearing high school student in a mainstreamed school or a school for the Deaf? (Or, did you graduate from high school in 2024?)
We are interested in your beliefs about communication and language as well as what you think others (parents, teachers, peers) believe about them.
Are you (or your teenager):
- Deaf or Hard of Hearing (at least 15 dB, corrected, in both ears); and
- A mainstreamed high school student in the US? Or, a high school student at a school for the Deaf in the US? Or, did you just graduate from high school in 2024?
Do you (or your teenager):
- Have a reading level (in English) of at least 6th grade;
- Use ASL or English at home with your family?
We’re looking for you (or your teenager) to anonymously share your opinions about language experiences in our online research study. We think it should take 1 1/2 hours to participate, with breaks. You (or your teenager) get a $10 gift card.
Any identifying information will be kept confidential by the researcher and her supervisor. You or your responses will not be identifiable in any publications (including the final thesis).
